Learner Feedback

"When I first started studying with Abella, I didn't think that I knew anything about Tarot. Abella skillfully drew out my own intuition and helped me develop my individual grasp of what the cards mean and how they interact with each other. Anyone can hand you a book to memorize the key words associated with the cards, but Abella gave me a deep understanding of what the cards are communicating that will transcend any deck or tarot reading. Abella also provided me with valuable tips and advice that she learned from her extensive experience as a professional reader."

Learning Tarot

Before you pick up a book or learn from a teacher, know your own views, opinions, and ideas before they are overshadowed by others. Here's a worksheet to help you explore a tarot deck:  Free Tarot Worksheet

I recommend using the Rider Waite deck designed by Pamela Colman Smith and A.E. Waite.  There are many different styles of this deck; however, I suggest the Radiant Rider-Waite, Universal Waite Tarot Deck, Universal Waite Pocket Edition, and Giant Rider-Waite Tarot Deck.  These tarot decks can be found quite inexpensively through Amazon.com or Amazon.ca

Do NOT read the books that accompany the decks before you have had time to meditate, view, and/or come to your own conclusions to the meaning and core concept of each card.

It does not hurt to have many tarot decks when one is learning.  Far too many keep to one or two decks and this restricts full comprehension of the cards.  With Divine Class you will have access to over two hundred decks from various time periods and genres.
